Lifeguard
Many think the Bondi Rescue fame is Reidy’s job, but there is a very serious side to the comical character we love on screen. Reidy is a Waverley Council lifeguard and for 15 years now his office has been the golden sands of Bondi, Tamarama and Bronte beaches.
Reidy is loved by many of the locals. He is one of the most colorful characters on the sand and his passion for life on the beach is highlighted in the reality show.
Presenter & Announcer
It’s no surprise that Reidy is taking the sporting circuit by commentary storm. He's announced some of the biggest and best events in Australia!
Reidy surprised himself in 2010 when he felt more at home on a finish line with a microphone in his hand. Not a medal. It’s only a few years ago he would’ve argued he was more comfortable competing in a pair of budgies.
At ease in any crowd, his salt-of-the-earth smile gets participants and crowds going too!

Splash Series
The Splash Series motivates people for purpose to be happy and healthy. It’s about acceptance. It’s about inclusion. From ankle biters to old codgers. Be it in your bikini, boardies or budgies – everyone's invited.
The back-story is a bit of a tear jerker. It's fuelled by Reidy’s own torture of being bullied as the ‘fat kid’ at school and missing out on kissing his high school sweetheart.
Alas, Reidy turned his life around through pure determination. He found exercise and a love for running and swimming and has never looked back.
The Splash Series events inspire others to do the same and gives back to several charities including WAYS (Waverley Action for Youth Services) – an organisation that accepts people of all shapes, colours and sizes.
This bloke. Reidy. Not only turned his own life around and won running races, he's now putting on an event for others. The Splash Series is a one-man production band. Reidy yet again proving his determination, business skills and professionalism across areas such as sponsorship, marketing, event production and so much more!!
Screen
If there was a “where the bloody hell are you” campaign for blokes, Reidy would win it by a country mile.
Alas, Tourism bodies in Australia have picked him up. He's hosted specials on Tropical North Queensland, the Julia Creek Dirt n' Dust Festival and Cairns to Cape York. They’ve all aired on prime time and are regular features on National Geographic around the world.
He’s all over the world and our screens! From his TV debut on Bondi Rescue, now heading into its 12th series, the screen opened up a new world that Reidy is more than cozy with.
From The Today Show, The Project and The Circle, to promo ads for Sky digital’s CBS Reality and an appearance on ITV’s Daybreak the on screen work is only heating up.
He's featured in sports programs showcasing major multisport events and has been recently throned the Meat and Livestock Australia Ambassador, featuring in their Good Meat series 1 and 2.

When it comes to triathlon and running he’s a placed age grouper in many, and memorable in more. He’s had damn good debuts in water skiing, tennis, skiing and cycling too!

Radio & Panel operating
Reidy is a panel operator at 2GB, Sydney; a growing complement to his role as an emcee & presenter.
His success has grown to include the production of popular podcasts ‘Run with Sole’ and a ‘Bondi lifeguard podcast’. Both proving popularity with listeners – topping sport an recreational categories on iTunes.
It’s Reidy’s ever-lasting love for radio and determination that have him filling airwaves today. In 2014, he quit a full time job to pick up some unpaid hours at 2GB after cajoling a response from Alan Jones that not even the Queen of England could!
Need a funny man with stories to tell? Radio suits Reidy too well.
